Are you waiting for “someday”?
I shared a post on "11 things I’ve learned in 15 years of real estate".
Here are a few that are really sticking out to me right now:
- Working more does not equal making more money. Learning to use leverage does.
- Treating real estate like a business changed everything for me. Treating it like a job kept me stuck.
- I’ve cried while living in my van. And I’ve cried in my dream apartment.
And here’s the one I think matters most:
- Milestones don’t deliver happiness. You have to find it on the way.
For a long time, I thought I’d enjoy life more once I hit the next level.
But that’s not how it works.
Success isn’t about waiting to live your life later. It’s about being the CEO of your life now.
Showing up for yourself TODAY is about being intentional and making decisions that support the life you actually want.
Because at the end of the day, at every level...
Your happiness is your responsibility. No one else’s.
Personal Note:
If you would've told 18-year-old me she would be able to escape Canadian winters in beautiful places, she would have believed you…because she was determined to make it happen.
What she still needed to learn was how to enjoy every part of the journey. Because success doesn’t take away all your problems. It just changes the shape of them and prepares you to face new ones.
