being busy vs. being strategic

Starting out I thought being busy meant I was making progress.

I was in constant motion, super busy, but I was not strategic.

Busy is reacting.

Strategic is deciding.

Busy is answering emails all day.

Strategic is doing the one thing that will actually move the needle.

I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way…lol) that being successful doesn’t mean doing more.

A lot of the time it means doing less…better.

Highly Successful People Know…

  • What matters this quarter
  • What needs to happen this week
  • And what deserves attention today

They have systems in place to help quiet the noise.

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you’re working hard without seeing results, it’s probably not a work ethic problem.

It’s probably a systems problem.

Momentum can’t run just on intensity. You will burn yourself out. Believe me…I’ve done it.

Sustainable momentum comes from clarity, systems, and consistency.

That’s when things start to really compound.

Do you have systems in place that help you be strategic instead of just busy?

I learned from the success of others and put systems in place that allow me to have times where rest and fun are the priority.

So grateful I stuck with my vision.

Even when no one else could see it✨️

I used to think I had to work my way into the bigger deals. Then I realized, I didn’t have to wait to go after what I really wanted. I just had to shift my thinking. So I did. And it changed everything.
Thinking bigger, sooner has allowed me to…
  • Close over $100M in deals (and counting)
  • Built a lucrative personal/professional brand
  • Become a thought leader in the industry
