do you feel like you're behind?

In 2016, I posted a quote that said…

"Instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life you don't need to escape from." - Seth Godin

At the time I was working as a power engineer, waitressing, and renovating houses on the side.

I posted that quote because it was exactly what I was working toward. 

I had no idea what it would actually look like. But I knew that real estate was the way to get there.

If I could show that version of me what life looks like today, she would not believe it.

The business is growing in ways I didn't plan. I'm healthier and more grounded than I've ever been. And I have a life in Miami that I love.

On my journey here nothing went exactly according to plan...not even close (lol).

Someone recently asked me…If your plan gets delayed do you feel like a failure?

My answer…Most things don't go according to plan. You only fail if you give up.

The delays and the detours were all part of it.

So if things aren't going the way you hoped right now, don't give up.

You might be closer than you think to the life that would blow your own mind.
