small thinking has a price too
Big thinking can feel risky. I know it has for me.
- Buying my first property felt risky.
- Leaving my comfort zone in residential real estate to move into commercial felt risky.
- Starting over in new rooms with people playing a much bigger game than me felt risky too.
At the time, all I could see was what could go wrong.
But looking back, I can also see what would have happened if I stayed where I was. And that would've cost me a lot more.
Because small thinking has a price too. We just don't notice it right away.
- It costs years staying in situations we've already outgrown.
- It costs opportunities we talk ourselves out of before we even try.
- And sometimes it costs becoming the person we actually want to be.
Most of the best things in my life came from moments where I expanded my vision before I had proof it would work.
That's really what Thinking Bigger, Sooner means to me.
I know I say this a lot (maybe because I need the reminder too)...it's not about having everything figured out.
It's about being willing to believe in possibility and taking action in the face of uncertainty.
Spoiler alert: Nothing is for sure. It's all uncertainty.
P.S. the room that scares me the most is probably the one I need to be in✨
