The Payoff of Hard Work + Staying True to Your “Why”
Before I went full time as a real estate investor, I was a power engineer working on big factory machines. I remember taking breaks during my shifts.
It was 15-minute naps on a cold bench in the basement, still in my coveralls, covered in dirt after working on machinery. And that was not that long ago.
Now, my breaks look a little different. And they are definitely longer than 15 minutes.
They also come with great food, new adventures, amazing views, and time spent with my mom…priceless.
This is what I worked for. This is why I went full time as an investor.
This is why I spent years sleeping in my van, saving every penny, and having no life outside of work.
For me, real estate investing isn’t just about building wealth. It's about building a life I don’t need a vacation from.
A life where I get to spend time with the people I love, travel the world, and experience the freedom I used to dream about on those cold basement benches.
Wherever you are in your journey. I encourage you to take a moment and think about this…
Success isn’t always built in the hustle.
Sometimes, it’s born in the stillness.
When you reconnect, reflect, and remember your “why”. That’s when the magic happens.
If you’re still grinding, still in the middle of it all…keep going. But don’t forget to pause once in a while. The stillness can teach you just as much as the hustle.
