The Truth About Motivation
November 6, 2025
“What’s your biggest challenge right now?”
My answer…being okay with stillness.
My life has always been chaotic, and sometimes it’s hard for me to relax. So, right now...I’m working on finding more peace and getting better sleep.
After a lot of traveling recently, I’m slowing down and staying in Miami for a bit. And I’m happy to report…it feels really good!
I’m catching my breath, reflecting on this year, and getting clear on my 2026 goals.
I’m also attending amazing events featuring some of the top leaders in the world.
There were two this week, and the lineups were unreal, including Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, Serena Williams, the CEO’s of Google and JPMorgan Chase, and the President of FIFA, just to name a few.
I mean…I sat across from the President of Argentina…it was crazy!
Being around people who dream big and work hard, at the events and just in Miami, is so powerful. I’m learning and growing a lot.
Ok...Here is another question for you:
“How do you stay motivated when things get hard?”
My answer might surprise you. Because… I think motivation is the worst thing to rely on.
In my experience, success doesn’t come from motivation. It comes from discipline.
Success comes from doing things you don’t want to do, over and over again, until one day, it works out.
It’s not easy. And that’s exactly why most people give up before they see success.
You can’t know which connection or possibility will move the needle in a big way. But when you consistently show up and put yourself in situations where opportunities could happen, eventually…they will. Trust me.
If you are looking to stay on target, even when things get hard, take some time to sit still and find…
- clarity around your goals
- ways to increase discipline
- opportunities that could lead to being in the right room, at the right time
You’ve got this!
