what's actually driving you?
Living in Miami and seeing people spending money (they may or may not have) to look wealthy has me thinking about my own motivation a lot lately.
Not just what gets me out of bed in the morning but the deeper stuff.
Like…why am I really doing this? What am I actually building toward?
When I look back on my life, I know it will be family and freedom that I value most.
- Did I show up for the people I love?
- Was I able to do what I wanted, when I wanted?
- Was I able to help others because I'd built something real?
That's what drives me.
Not buying things to impress people who don't know me and honestly don't care.
I know it can be hard not to care about how people see you. But chasing that kind of validation will never be enough.
Save your money. Put it into real assets and your education first. Build something that actually grows.
And then…if you want the flashy car, go get it. Enjoy every second of it. There is nothing wrong with nice things when you've built the foundation first.
The difference is buying from a place of abundance instead of trying to prove something.
Ask yourself…
Why am I really doing this?
And is the way I'm spending my time and money actually reflecting that?
