your habits tell the real story
I was thinking about this the other day…
If someone followed you around for 7 days, would your actions show that you’re committed to your goals?
Or would they just see flashes of interest when it’s convenient?
This one hit me a little too.
Because it’s easy to say we want something.
A different life. More freedom.
But the real question is…does our day-to-day reflect that?
How do you spend your mornings?
How do you spend your evenings?
What do you say yes to?
What do you say no to?
Are you actually doing the work?
Or just thinking about it?
I’ve had times where I said I wanted more, but my habits didn’t match that at all.
And I’ve also had times where I got really honest with myself, made a few small changes, and everything started to shift.
What small changes could make all the difference?
The habits of today are determining the life we live tomorrow.
I worked a lot of years without prioritizing my health and enjoying life.
Honestly, it’s been an adjustment to shift my focus and learn how to relax without feeling lazy. (I'm still working on it…lol)
Being intentional about self-care through healthy habits…with big things like eating healthy and small things like buying myself flowers…has helped me learn the value of the times when rest and adventure are my priority.
